" For several years my wife and I had talked about having a family portrait done. Our kids are growing up so quickly that if we didn't make time to have a portrait taken, we would lose this precious opportunity. Between hockey rinks, baseball diamonds, dance studios and school sports, it seemed we just couldn't find the time for a family portrait. All this combined with the fact that we did not know a photographer, pushed our wish farther and farther away. This all changed when I met Dave Robinet of Photosense. He seemed very passionate about his work and thought he cold help us out. Dave visited our home and took several shots of our family. Now came the biggest challenge of all. There were so many great images, we didn't know which ones to choose. Upon much deliberation, a choice was finally made. We are very happy with our selecting and the portrait is now a focal point in our home. Of greater importance is the fact that we now have a beautiful memory of our family, which we will cherish forever. Dave, thank you so much for making our ugly family beautiful! “For a while already, my husband wanted to have some nice pictures of me. I was thinking to do this as a Christmas present for him. But I didn’t have any idea where to go for them. I was very lucky that I was referred to Dave and Mary. I saw Dave’s portfolio and was very impressed by his art work. I really could feel his passion for his work. I had the opportunity to meet Dave before the photo session to talk over what I had in mind. I felt at that point that he is very respectful, professional and a kind, integer person which made me feel at ease to go ahead with this boudoir photo session. At the photo session itself I had Kelly over from Make-up in Motion, who did the make-up and they both assisted me through this picture taking very smoothly, just the way I expected it. Both of them did a great job. Dave captured exactly in his pictures what I had in mind. They are great pieces of art, I have no words for it. My husband was flabbergasted as he didn’t expected that I had gone for these pictures, he was very impressed and happy when I gave him three of the many pictures Dave had taken on Christmas Eve. It was one of the nicest presents ever, he said. The most difficult job I kept for him afterwards was choosing more pictures out of the whole set Dave had taken. They are one per one very, very beautiful, so it is very difficult to choose. We will end up taking them all at one point I guess ;) Thank you Dave for this beautiful job you did, you made our Christmas, we are honoured that you made those pictures for us.
